Arranging furniture in a pleasing manner ensures the room area is efficiently used. Proper furniture arrangement will also highlight a favorite piece of furniture. In a multipurpose room, arrange furniture in such a way that the room is divided into separate spaces (an example of this is a living room dining room). A strategically placed screen or even curtains hung from the ceiling are simple and inexpensive ways to accomplish this.
